Okay, this is a weird one: I need to find more rolls of the discontinued full-sheet Trader Joe’s paper towels for my COVID-19 installation. If you happened to stockpile them, I will buy them from you.

Lara’s Lab is located in the cool and funky Underground Level of Art Works Downtown (AWD) in San Rafael, just 15 minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge. There are 30 other studio artists, a ceramics studio (with classes), a jeweler’s guild, and 4 galleries on site. The surrounding blocks have plenty of restaurants, bars, a video game arcade, a movie theater and more. Downtown San Rafael is one of California’s 14 Cultural Arts Districts, making it a rich place to explore Bay Area arts!

2nd Friday Art Walk from 5PM to 8PM on May 9, June 13, July 11 and the 2nd Friday of every month in 2025.

2025 Marin Open Studios from 11AM to 6PM on Saturdays and Sundays, May 3 - 4 and 10 - 11.

The open hours of Art Works Downtown are Wednesdays through Saturdays from 12PM to 6PM.
